Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for volunteers to serve in our production ministry in the sound booth. If you have experience working with sound, tech or making slides we would love to have you. If you don’t have experience but are interested we can train you. See Abby Skinner for details.

We love to celebrate member’s birthday’s at Bowe Gardens Baptist Church. Once a month, after Sunday worship, the Birthday ministry visits church members for their birthdays blessing them with balloons, cards, signs and cake. If you’d like to serve in this capacity on a regular basis please see David Groseclose or Linda Street to join in the fun.

We are looking for greeters for Sunday mornings. We need volunteers to join our Greeters Ministry to give a friendly smile, hand out bulletins and welcome bags before worship service. You would also direct visitors to the nursery/children’s wing as needed. We’re looking to get enough volunteers to rotate out each month so that way no one person is volunteering every week. Calling all altos, sopranos, tenors and basses…join our choir and let’s praise the name of Jesus Christ together! Do you play an instrument? We’d love to have you join our Music Ministry! We practice every Wednesday at 5:30pm in the choir room in the fellowship hall. For questions see Jim or Brenda Townley.

We are looking for volunteers to serve in our children’s ministry on Sunday mornings during worship. Volunteers are needed for the nursery (newborn-age 2) and children’s class (age 3-6). Please see Beverly Groseclose or Carol Skinner to volunteer.
